This stench of gloom
Leads through the harrows of time…
Rooted in a miasma of blues,
Reeked in the course of subsistence
Through a futile realm, to a terminus
Where this journey shall cease.
Bound between this juncture
Of being, and of ends!
Enduring the flow of time is the elixir
Of escape, from the surfeit of existence.
In a life which dwells
Off the faint tinge of content,
Dripping from dregs of purpose;
A scant purpose for holding on
To the mundane of being,
In its transient significance.
When the morbid walls of constraint
Rise like a contagion,
To seize our realms of desire
And shroud them forever beneath the oblivion;
Where they lie forsaken
Forever into the further,
Craving for a breath to beseech
Unto the salvation, of ends ethereal!
Enduring the flow of time
Is the elixir of escape,
Further onto the offing of a redemption…
Through waves of despair,
I drink from the Chalice of Life;
Relishing this poison for the mind
In embrace of death and its liberation,
I relinquish the gates of my realm!
Onward to the exile of after-life,
Towards the reach of our Elysium
As the end approaches!
Steeped in the blood of fates slaughtered,
The end – to cease my servitude of being.
Where smothered by a mind dissociated,
Reveries haunt and reality corners
The self, to another traceless destination
In the abyss of life’s powerless realms…
From there I had often sought
For her signs, the serenade!
Her offering to our symphony of dreams;
Now with this end, an exile from this being,
Grasping onto the last morsels of breath,
I hear it resounds!
Exploring the finites of existence
Through countless thoughts,
Bound between this juncture
Of being, and of ends!
Rendering now further till the end,
The lure of her last notes
Like a pleasant beckon for my departure,
On to the grounds afar;
Where draped in the wounds
Of my maddening whims,
She forever waits upon…
With the dawn of end’s hour
Time gazes past to see,
The germ of life withers;
As I transcend the vanity of my existence!
Further from these sheltered realms
To dimensions beyond death!
Where sublimes eternity,
To reap those seeds of hope
Which a fallen life had failed to sow…
Then approaches the end
To redeem the self from this being;
The end - an ethereal beckoning
From beyond of death,
This brink, like the grasp of escape
From this engulfing mire of reality!
Now resounds the specter,
As her serenade completes
To its last notes of euphony!
And this marrow of life
Bereaves its last strands…
An end ethereal, to transcend till her.
A unison in the further!
